The Kiwanis Club of Gallup was founded in 1920.  The Club began with approximately 75 members and has a curent membership of 25.  Over the years, the Club has held many fundraisers, including the Super Bowl Pancake Breakfast, flower sales, and other eventes.  We help in the community in a variety of ways, including sponsoring youth groups and programs (SOAP), Kamp Kiwanis, Easter Seals, and responding to community appeals.

The Club has enjoyed a rich history over the years, with its members coming from fields like accounting, civil service, education, health care, management, and many more.  Kiwanis has enjoyed a long association with the Gallup Ceremonial.  Since Kiwanis was the FIRST service organization in Gallup, we were approached to help sponsor the first Gallup Indian Ceremonial.  This association has continued through the years with Kiwanians performing many activities in support of this program.

For more information about us, check out our News page and our Activities calendar.  And to see what we're doing with kids in the area, why not take a look at our Sponsored Youth page, SOAP.
